Holy crap. I have just died and gone to heaven. So far, I haven't seen prints as artistic as these this season. It literally looks like metallic watercolor paint exploded onto each garment in a different and beautiful way. Contradicting elements that you would never expect be paired together (latex ombre pieces and sheer fabric or rope holsters and ruffles) complimented each other perfectly. Smart blazers, 80s-infused alienlike shades and flashes of skin added the finishing touch to the perfection that was Prabal Gurung Spring 2012. As for the hair... this is probably the 4th runway show I've seen with greasy hair. Are designers trying to tell us that dirty hair is the new ombre? Not so sure. Check out my favorite look below.
